Let's Get This Thing Started in Here!
I haven't blogged since 2012 and even then it was mainly because I was trying to start a scrapbooking business. HA! That worked out well.
Life has changed tremendously since 2012. I had baby #3, Baby L in 2014, both of my girls are tweens and my home is full. AHHH. Lord help me please! My father in law now lives with us. My sister and her 3 girls moved up from Texas and her poor husband is still flying back and forth until he finds a job and their house is finished being built. Oh and yes, they are living in our house too. So there's Old Man Pop Pop, 76, Big Daddy, 41, myself, 40 this year OMG, Vern (my sister), 33, Em, 13, K, 11, Baby L, 5, C, 8, M, 4, O, 2, and sometimes Uncle Ben, 36.
If you are counting that is 10, sometimes, 11 people in our 1800 sq ft home, since July 2018, this house has been chaos. There are also 3 dogs, a cat their dog has chased away but she still stops by to eat and 9 chickens.
I need somewhere to share funny stories, somewhere to document life, somewhere to just vent and get things off my mind. I really do think we could all have our own reality TV show at some point. I want to write about my ups and my downs in hopes that it can help someone else cope, deal or just see they are not alone and maybe, just maybe, help me sleep.
With technology literally being at our fingertips it is sooo hard to find that personal connection. Think about all the texts sent between people and how different people can take them. I have a very sarcastic way of dealing with lots of things but in a text it might come across as being a complete bitch. Totally, not how I wanted it to be taken. Oops. Hopefully that won't happen here. In reality, I doubt anyone ever follows me or this blog and I will just be basically keeping a diary of my thoughts sometimes in the present and sometimes in the past.
